Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

With dining options abound within The Village of Baytowne Wharf, you don’t have to go far to find a selection of diverse restaurants. Slick Lips Seafood & Oyster House is owned by a father and son who have 40 years of fishing experience in addition to their culinary skills. They have award-winning seafood gumbo, raw oysters, and chargrilled oysters. The scallops with cheddar-gouda grits and a smokey tomato cream sauce are heavenly. Be sure you save room for a Guinness Brownie.

At Hammerhead’s Bar and Grille you can indulge in their famous steamed seafood served in a bucket on their waterfront patio. It is a bucket full of shrimp, snow crab, clams, mussels, and a pound of lobster. Another Broken Egg Cafe, specializing in all things eggs, is a popular breakfast and brunch spot in The Village of Baytowne Wharf. They have Strawberry Pound Cake French Toast, which is a French toast made with pound cake and topped like a strawberry shortcake. It is like having dessert for breakfast. Their cocktails are full of fruity, tropical flavors such as the grapefruit hard seltzer, the pomegranate mule, and the blueberry margarita.

Shopping in The Village at Baytowne Wharf has a fun mix of stores and boutiques to enjoy. The Artful Soap Co makes soaps and natural skincare products from locally sourced ingredients. Sandestin Clothing Company is the place to find casual tropical weather and beach attire. The Village of Baytowne Wharf has some of the best entertainment options, with live music, shows, and scheduled water activities as well.
